Brenda is a weaver of the energies of the sky and the earth and an architect for liberation. They are a seed-saving, worm-loving, builder and organizer rooted in the responsibilities we have to care, love, and grow with each other outside, inside, and in community.

Brenda spent their formative years in Mexico and then migrated to an unincorporated community in Kings County and grew up in a dairy.

Brenda comes from a background in decolonial anthropology, grassroots organizing, and narrative & communications work. They are rooted in disability justice, transformative justice, healing justice, mutual aid, and the belief that we all can have everything we need when we connect and build together.
